Sometimes caring for a loved when may not stop at managing their medication, accompanying them to the hospital, and making sure the house chores are done. It could go as far as managing their finances because as people age, performing simple math problems can become challenging. This is where a power of attorney comes in. A power of attorney, or a POA allows a principal to appoint an agent to act for them should they become incapacitated.
